Byobu / Brutal-Punk – Japanese partition [Side B]

“Brutal-Punk – Japanese partition of Japanese Symbols”.

Side B of the Byobu.

It took me time to prepare myself to create the images.

First ,I had to stretch the paper on the two wooden frames.

I drew side B with Acrylic and masking tape to create strong images as I wanted.

The Byobu was displayed at my exhibition in Kyoto, which opened on the 25th April, 2026.
