Observations of still life are the first steps before any commentary in forms of art. Looking at the inner and outer circles of flowers symbolizes and expands to personal relations, to neighborhood and to love, of course.

Drawing flowers, which I do again and again, is about understanding the cycles of life, the essence of it.

Each bouquet tells a story, symbolizes mood, situation. It gives the viewer space to feel and understand his own point of view.

Drawing flowers gives me the energy and the permission to show feelings via symbolism. The connections, tension, arrangement of the leaves and the crowns are all part of describing situations. It uncovers deeper expressions of feelings and experiences.
